Vi søger en super dygtig webprogrammør til at videreudvikle og vedligeholde vores to softwareprodukter Idea Exchange og Newsga.me.

Vi tilbyder et et udfordrende job i en start-up med fart på. Du vil indgå i et lille effektivt team med en webdesigner, en programmør og en produktansvarlig. Du vil blive den hovedansvarlige for softwaret.

Dine vigtigste opgaver bliver at udtænke og specificere nye funktioner og features samt at programmere, teste og dokumentere dem. Derudover vil der være opgaver med at konfigurere installationer til kunder og selvfølgelig en del vedligeholdelse af softwaret.

Kvalifikationer
Det er en fordel hvis du har beskæftiget dig med Open ACS eller Ruby on Rails, samt databaseret serverapplikationer som fx Django. Du skal have arbejdet med HTML, CSS og Javascript og gerne TCL, og Postgresql.

Du har en passion for at bygge elegant, simpelt og velfungerende software og elsker, at det bliver anvendt af tusindvis af mennesker hver dag. Du er perfektionist til fingerspidserne og god til at have det store overblik. Du er organiseret og trives godt i en lille virksomhed med mange bolde i luften. Du har en lille entreprenør i maven, bruger Mac, Spotify og Twitter og er altid nysgerrig efter de nyeste tendenser inden for web og sociale applikationer.

Yes, we’ve been on it again. Another Danish top news media has launched their own News Exchange.

Ekstra Bladet recently launched Flashbørsen. On Flashbørsen you buy shares in the lives of the rich and famous. If you’re good at predicting what will happen, you earn virtual money and win prizes.

www.ekstrabladet.dk is one of Denmark’s biggest news sites. Ekstra Bladet describe the themselves as: … the newspaper with the surprising news. Naughty, disrespectful, tabo-breaking and credible. The newspaper you love to hate.

It’s the second News Exchange branded as a gossip game and people love it. We are really satisfied by how News Exchange can be branded/customized to target different segments, and are working on a lot of new cool concepts for the future.

We’ve just carried out a major update to Politikens Nyhedsspil. Here are some of the new features:

Better gameplay
We’ve have made the gameplay much easier. No more waiting for others to buy your shares when you want to sell, or putting orders that aren’t picked up. We introduced a so-called automatic market maker, so you always can buy and sell. Also we added a cool slider so you easy can determine how much money you want to spend.

Real time prices
We’ve added real time prices to Nyhedsspillet. Now prices are updated live, making it much more fun to play. Watch how the prices change when people trade in this video

Notifications
Now you can choose to get email notifications when your shares are closed and when they are cashed in.

Make your own shares
We would like everybody to contribute with their suggestions for fun and innovative shares. Just fill out the formula and send it along for approval. You name will be added to the share.

For the past two weeks, the now defamed CEO of IT Factory, has been on the run. His disappearance in Dubai and the collapse of IT Factory has grabbed the headlines in most Danish media.

However, being on the run from Hell Angels, Interpol and angry creditors didn’t mean that Mr. Bagger was too busy to put a wager on his own capture in Politiken’s Nyhedsspillet (The News Game )which runs on Nosco’s News Exchange platform.

As the screenshot shows, Mr. Bagger invested in 667 news-stocks at 75, each paying 100 in the event of himself not being captured. While we understand Mr. Baggers’ joy of playing Nyhedsspillet, we do not comprehend why he turned himself in, only hours after buying the stock?
